Many countries are suspicious about Russia’s first vaccine against Covid-19.
Ever since the Covid-19 declared as a global pandemic, many countries and top most companies are in a race to invent a vaccine.
This quest for domination has led Russia to approve the world’s first Covid-19 vaccine without a phase 3 trial.Scientists say the approval came breaking several guidelines of WHO which are must for the safety of people.
On the other hand, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the health care regulator of Russia has accepted it assuring no serious problems in the future.Moscow based Gamaleya Research Institute, which developed the vaccine, has also approved for its global use though it hasn’t gone through the vital phase 3 trials.
Meanwhile, scientists say that there are many vaccines in the world like the Russian vaccine, which have given positive results in the first two phases and are going through the third phase.It’s the excessive enthusiasm of Russia that led to hurried approval of the vaccine to dominate the race.
Hence the scientists are sceptical about the vaccine and it is too early to answer the question “Does it work?”.
