Mumbai, November 22, 2018 : .The Sanjay Mishra- and Rajesh Tiang-starrer “Andaman” has been compared to the web series “Panchayat”, which was launched in 2020. The film stars Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav as well as Neena Gupta and Biswapati Sarkar.Smita Sing is the director of ‘Andaman.
Smita Singh talks about his film, and how it compares to ‘Panchayat.
This film is very similar to the “Panchayat” series, so people believe it’s a remake.
Smita sings, Director: “I also get lots of comments in which people compare this movie with Panchayat before they watch it.There are only three similarities between the films: sachiv and pradhan ji.The story of ‘Panchayat,’ which centers on Covid-19 empowerment is completely different.
The film also highlighted important social issues such as gender equality, casteism and development.

Singh answered a question about whether they thought of Panchayat while filming the movie.He said: “Panchayat is a popular series and both of the protagonists hold the Panchayat Secretary position that’s all I felt during making.” The film’s story and the movie itself are full of intense drama.
Further, she said that the film was about an unsuccessful IAS candidate who takes over a quarantine center in an underprivileged community.He finds himself trapped in the labyrinth of Covid-19 where he must fight many monsters, including deep feelings of failure.
This film, directed by Smita Sing, was independently released on an open-theater platform.It is written by Anand Raaj who plays the role of the protagonist.
The film is produced by 8th Pillar Motion Pictures.
