New Delhi, Sep 4 : Dheeraj Dhoopar, who won numerous awards for his role as Karan Luthra in the TV soap “Kundali Bhagya and is now a participant of the dance reality show of the same name, the celebrity show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jhaa 10”, which is an experience that is new to Dheeraj Dhoopar. It’s also challenging because along with the fact that he is also starring in a fictional show called ‘Sherdill shergill’ alongside Surbhi Chandna.
On the way he is juggling both, Dheeraj said to IANS: “It is not easy.However, I have been mentally prepared to put in all of my efforts to ensure the ultimate success of the shows.
“It can be physically as well as mentally demanding to be an integral part of two big shows , but I believe that God put us in such a situation because they believe they are capable of it.”
After having done a variety of TV shows such as ‘Sasural Ka”, ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge”, ‘Naagin Five among others, he finds ‘Kundali Bhagya the most dear to his heart.
He stated: “Every show for me has been memorable.I can’t put my finger on one show.However “Kundali Bhagya was the show that gave me a brand new identity, and I will remember it.”Jhalak” is also special for me as it was my first ever reality TV show.”
The actor also reveals how he prepares himself to give his best performance as an actor and dancer in front of the judges such as Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit, filmmaker Karan Johar and dancer and actress Nora Fatehi.
Dheeraj stated: “More than physical preparation I believe that mentally preparing myself is extremely important.I think that if I’m mentally prepared, then there is nothing that is impossible.Additionally, despite my hectic schedule, I set a goal to attend my rehearsal regardless of what.”
Dheeraj recently became a father and the couple posted photos on social media.When asked the way he feels about fatherhood he responded: “Nothing can compare to the experience of becoming a dad.It’s one of the most pure feelings on earth.
“Honestly speaking, it’s difficult to be away , but I’d like to add that seeing my child when I return helps me forget about all my troubles.”
He is awed by his partner in the show as well as choreographer Sneha Singh.”Sneha is an incredible choreographer and we have a great time rehearsal,” he said.”It is the perfect combination of hard work and enjoyment that we all have.On the set, we are focused on how we perform.”
Dheeraj initially wasn’t interested in acting as an actor at first.”Initially I was planning to be an actor but I soon realized that I wasn’t tall enoughto be a model,” Dheeraj said.”This led me to focus on printing and shooting and eventually I was able to get my first show.I have had a pleasant journey in the business and I haven’t had a struggle.
“After every show I completed, I was able to get the opportunity to do my next show.Today, I am pleased that I am recognized not just for my appearance.Also, with Jhalak I’m hoping that people are able to see my journey as dancer.”
In a discussion about his upcoming project, he said: “I have been in talks with a few OTT as well as Bollywood projects, but I do not want to pursue it just for just the just the sake of it.If I’m working on the OTT project or an Bollywood film, it will be something that is out of the ordinary and worth the effort.”
