Actor Dhanush will be teaming up with some of the most exciting filmmakers of Indian cinema for his forthcoming projects and one of them is Mari Selvaraj, who floored us with his powerful debut film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’.The two will be collaborating for ‘Karnan’ and this action drama will be produced by Kalaippuli S.Thanu under V Creations banner.
Dhanush and the entire ‘Karnan’ team completed the film’s shoot in December 2020 and the makers recently announced that the film will release in theatres in April 2021 worldwide with a small teaser from the film.
The one-minute-long teaser shows Dhanush with a big sword in his hand ready to strike whoever comes in his way.
Now the latest news is that Dhanush is all set to complete the dubbing of his portions in this upcoming rural action drama ‘Karnan’ and will soon leave for the US for the shoot of the Russo Brothers’ Netflix film ‘The Gray Man’.Producer Kalaippuli S.Thanu confirmed this news saying, “#KarnanUpdate Dubbing is almost complete.@dhanushkraja at his best! @KarnanTheMovie @Music_Santhosh @mari_selvaraj #KarnanArrivesOnApril”.
The film features Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead and popular DOP and actor Natarajan Subramanian aka Natty in a key role.
The music for the flick will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan.The film also has Gauri Kishan, Lal, and Yogibabu in pivotal roles.
Dhanush’s ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ is ready for release.He will also be starring in Karthick Naren’s #D43, Aanand L.Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’, Selvaraghavan’s ‘Naane Varuven’ and the Sun Pictures production #D44.‘Karnan’ is slated to release in April, and the exact release date will be made once the film gets censored.Stay tuned for more updates!
