A tragedy has taken place at the house of former Andhra Pradesh minister and TDP senior leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao.His father Devineni Srimannarayana passed away.Family members say he died of a heart attack at a private hospital in Vijayawada.Sreemannarayana is 88 years old.Kankipada Mandal Neppally is his hometown and he settled in Kanchikacharla.He has a total of four sons and a daughter.
Although not much involved in active politics, the late Devineni Venkataramana and Devineni Uma participated in the election campaign several times.Today, family members are arranging for Sreemannarayan’s funeral in Kanchipuram.
TDP chief Chandrababu, as well as the party’s national general secretary Lokesh, mourned the death of Shriman Narayana.Chandrababu said that the death of Srimannarayana was tragic and wished peace to his soul.
He conveyed his deepest sympathies to Devineni family members.Along with them, many TDP and other party leaders are mourning.
