New Delhi, Aug 11 : The capital city of India on Thursday reported 2,726 fresh Covid-19 cases — which is the most in the past 6 months from February 2 to August 1, bringing the total number of cases to 19,78,266 officials announced. In the city, there were 3,028 Covid infections on February 2.
Six Covid linked deaths also were recorded, bringing the death toll up to 26,357 the health bulletin reported.
The Covid positive percentage of the city has decreased to 14.38 percent as well as the total number of active cases is 8,840 of whom 5,591 are treated in isolation at home.
With 285 patients having recovered in the past 24 hours the number of recuperations has increased to 19,43,069.
The total number of Covid containment zones is at 263.
The total of 18,960 new tests -13,158 RTPCR and 5,802 Rapid Antigen were performed in the last 24 hours bringing the total to 3,96,73,035 and 15,966 vaccines were administered1,174 first doses 2,619 second doses and 12,173 precautionary doses.
The number of total beneficiaries who have been vaccinated to date is 3,60,14,261 as per the health bulletin.
