New Delhi, Aug 12 : Delhi on Friday saw a slight decrease in the new Covid infection, which was recorded at 2,136 compared to 2,726 reported the previous day.However, the number of deaths increased to 10, according to the health bulletin. Additionally the Covid positive rate has increased to 15.02 percent while the total number of active cases is 8,343, of the 5,676 who are treated in isolation at home.
With 2,623 patients having recovered in the past 24 hours the number of recuperations has risen to 19,45,692.Delhi’s total caseload stands at 19,80,402 and death toll has increased to 26,367.
The total number of Covid containment zones is at 283.
A total of 14, 225 brand-new tests including 11,180 RT-PCR and 3,045 Rapid Antigen were performed in the last 24 hours bringing the total to 3,9687,260.6,583 vaccines were administered — 252 first doses 827 second doses and 5,504 doses of precaution.
The number of vaccine-affected beneficiaries so to date is 3,60,20844 in accordance with the health bulletin.
