New Delhi, Aug 18 : The capital city of India on Thursday announced 1,964 fresh Covid infections versus 1,652 cases that were reported the previous day according to the health bulletin. Within the same frame the city has reported another 8 Covid associated deaths.
The new cases have increased Delhi’s total caseload to 19,90,355 and the death count has increased to 26,408.
In the meantime the Covid positive percentage of the city has gone down to 9.42 per cent.
The total number of active cases is 6,826, of 432 patients being treated in isolation at home.
With 1,939 patients undergoing recovery in the past 24 hours the number of recuperations has risen to 19,57,121.
The count of Covid containment zones is at 313.
The total of 20,844 tests that were new -14,954 RT-PCR as well as 5,890 Rapid Antigen were performed in the last 24 hours bringing the total to 3,97,715,523 while 26394 vaccines were administered1 657 first doses and 4,275 second doses and 20,462 precautionary doses.
The number of vaccine-affected beneficiaries as of now stands at 3,61,34718 as per the health bulletin.
