New Delhi, Sep 2 : A Delhi Police head constable was assaulted by two motorbike-driven men in West Delhi’s Vikaspuri in an suspected road rage incident, police announced on Friday.The incident occurred at around midnight on Thursday.
following a PCR report the police team was immediately dispatched to the location.
The suspects were riding the motorcycle, got into an argument with head constable Vipin who was driving a vehicle, and he allegedly assaulted him, a police official told.
“The motorcycle riders demanded him to stop his car near the metro pillar number 631 in Vikaspuri area.When he stopped they assaulted him,” the official said.
Vipin Vipin, who is a police officer at the Madipur police station and lives in Najafgarh was transferred to a nearby state hospital.
Police said they have filed a complaint and the police have formed a team to hunt down the attackers.
