Including Telangana and Delhi, 16 states in India have a higher recovery rate than the national average.According to the new statistics, India’s Covid-19 recovery rate is escalating on each passing day.It has significantly raised from 7.85% to 64% now.The Health Ministry has said that there are more than 34,000 recoveries a day from the last week.
In total 16 states have surpassed the national average.
Delhi has the highest recovery rate of Covid-19 patients with 88%.Telangana occupied the fifth spot with 74%.Even the worst COVID-affected states like Tamil Nadu have also a higher rate than the national average.
The Ministry of Health Affairs has also stated that India’s testing rate is now beyond the standard of the World Health Organisation.
The WHO has set a minimum limit of 140 tests per million population where India is comfortably conducting 5 lakh tests for the past three days.
Compared to the world statistics, India’s recovery rate is 52.7% which is slightly higher of world average 52.4%.Germany is at the top position with 92.1% of recovery rate followed by Iran, Italy, Russia, and Peru.
