New Delhi, Aug 17 : Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra will stage the 46th season of the Dance Drama – ‘Krishna’ from August 16 to 19 in the Kamani Auditorium here. The two and a half-hour long show aims to bring back the myth of Krishna from 3000 years ago, regardless of his time of growing up or the games he was a part of as an adult.
Although the Krishna chapter is woven with various kinds of stories, myths, and magic, as with other chapters in Indian mythology It has always been seen as mostly practical and offering wisdom in various aspects of everyday life.
Utilizing the traditional Indian dance styles such as Mayurbhanj Chhau as well as Kalaripayattu The Kendra will portray this aspect of Lord Krishna’s existence from the time of his birth to his role in the epic Mahabharata.
