Thiruvananthapuram 19 August : Congress in Kerala protested after the police who were investigating vandalism of Lok Sabha Member Rahul Gandhi’s office in Wayanad was able to arrest one employee of the office of Rahul Gandhi – Ratheesh along with three other Congress employees on Friday.The incident occurred on the 24th of June. Insisting that Gandhi who is also the Wayanad MP, was unable to take action in the matter of buffer zones of eco-sensitive areas, SFI protesters were alleged to have shouted slogans against Gandhi and damaged the office of his in Wayanad.
A photograph of Mahatma Gandhi was discovered broken , and confusion was created when SFI protesters claimed that they did not cause the destruction and also claimed they were the result of Congress employees.
The police began a probe and four Congress employees were arrested on Friday.
Local Congress legislator T.Siddique said this is nothing more than a ploy to distract attention when the assembly starts its session on Monday.
“The AKG Centre, the state headquarters of the CPI-M was attacked in the last week of June.
We all know this was the job of the CPI-M itself to distract attention and take on the Congress party.Congress members in Wayanad were detained for destroying the image of Mahatma Gandhi, which was in the office.
This is how the officers of Vijayan are performing,” said Siddique.
“This incident is in order to please Narendra Modi and it’s hilarious that the police haven’t not yet able to look into the CCTV footage from the place in which the vandalism took place.Without that, how could police make a decision such a conclusion.It’s just a way to conceal their naivete of attacking the CPI-M headquarters.” said Siddique.
The police have arrested the four Congress employees, including those who are part of the team of Gandhi and sources have revealed that they will all be given bail at the station in the station.
