Bhopal 27 Aug : “Lake Princess” the cruise vessel which was partially submerged in Bhopal’s upper lake because of intense winds and heavy rain has been dragged out. “The two-storey vessel is being repaired because the wooden and glass components were severely damaged. It will take a while to get it back up and running,” a tourism official who was at the location was told by IANS on Saturday.
An engineer stated that certain parts of the cruise ship are being opened and damage will be evaluated.
“It could take at most one month to fix this cruise and get it operating again,” a Hyderabad-based engineer said, adding that the heavy flow of winds caused the cruise to be uneven due to the fact that a portion of it was submerged in water.
Although there are many electric and paddle boats for visitors to the upper lake This cruise is the main draw.
It can accommodate 70-80 people in one go , and it takes an entire tour of the entire upper lake.
The ride is more enjoyable for visitors in the cruise since they can enjoy drinks, coffee snacks, and other drinks and more with dancing and music on it.
