New Delhi, Nov 26th : .The crackdown against illegally residing foreign nationals continued in Delhi Police apprehending six more foreigners with expired visas.

This was a Friday statement from an official.
According to the official, six Africans were found roaming around the Mohan Garden area by a Dwarka police team.

They were identified as Chukwu, Chinedu Obi and Christain Onyebuchi.

The official stated that after verifying their credentials, it was determined that they were overstaying in India and had not obtained a valid visa.

They were brought before the Foreigners Regional Registration Officers.Their deportation was ordered by the FRRO.

All six African nationals were deported to Lampur Border Detention Centre.

A second team of police also apprehended six foreign nationals, identified by Chukwuemeka and Paul Nwosu.

Samuel and Akossi could not produce any documents to support their stay in India.

They were arrested under section 14-A, Foreigner Act.The Foreigner Act also charges the owner of the house where the foreigners were living.

Notably, Dwarka’s district police recently launched Operation Varchasva in their mission to make Dwarka crime-free.

In a short time, several gangsters and snatchers have been arrested.The police also monitor illegally residing foreigners in the region.

A day ago, the Delhi Police’s newly established Cell Against Illegal Foreigners and Narcotics (CAIFAN), seized a large amount of heroin in the capital that was worth an estimated Rs 106 crore on the international market.

Officials claim that the contraband, which weighed 10.688 Kg was taken from George Uchenna Nwadiegwu (African national), who was living in India.
