London, December 25, 2018 : .Liverpool, a Premier League team, is leading a campaign to inform football fans about the importance of COVID-19 vaccinations.This is especially important as ‘Omicron is becoming the predominant variant in the UK. Liverpool’s goalkeeper Alisson and Jordan Henderson, Liverpool’s captain joined Jurgen Klopp (IST) and Watford coach Claudio Ranieri (Watford) to urge PL fans to have their vaccine booster.
Henderson is an ambassador for the National Health Service (NHS), and said that a booster can be used to protect you and your loved ones from COVID.
Alisson, a teammate, echoed these sentiments and added: “Help keep everybody safe.Join me and get boosted right now.”
After Klopp, head coach of the team shared his experiences with having the third jab, Klopp called for supporters to protect others.
Klopp stated, “I don’t mind telling you that I got my booster jab as soon I became eligible.” “(And And) Again, that will be true for many, if not all of our ranks over the next days and weeks.”
Claudio Ranieri, Watford’s head coach has also encouraged fans to get immunized.He said it is important because vaccines can save lives.
He said, “We must save many people before we can be together.We are a match.” The COVID won’t arrive if there aren’t enough players vaccinated.To save your family and yourself, the booster is essential.Everything, including the booster, is important.
The virus also affects PL matches.
In the last two weeks, 13 games were cancelled due to this virus.This is despite Britain fighting a record number of Covid positive cases.
