93.94 per cent of the population over the age of 18 in the state has completed two doses of Covid vaccination.The rest will also be completed by the end of this month, the state medical health department said.Due to such a large number of vaccination procedures, the severity of symptoms and mortality in the third stage of Covid in the state is very low.Even for children between the ages of 15 and 18, the first dose is one hundred percent complete.Also, for those above 18 years of age, two doses per day are 100 per cent complete in Nellore and Prakasam districts.
Due to the rapid completion of the vaccination process in the state, the number of deaths due to Covid third wave is very low in AP as compared to other states in the country.Also, those who get Covid positive also have very mild symptoms so everyone is recovering in just a few days of the week.The death rate in the country is 1.20 per cent while in the state it is only 0.64 per cent.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has directed that the vaccination be completed expeditiously from the outset as 93.94 per cent of those over 18 years of age in the state have been vaccinated with two doses.Apart from the decrease in Covid positive cases from four to five days, the death rate is much lower in Andhra Pradesh than in other states besides the country.
Even for those who are now Kovid positive, the severity of the symptoms is very low.
