Puri Jagananth son Akash’s debut film Andhra Pori is all set to release in the two Telugu states this Friday.But the film is apparently stuck in some controversy.
Some Seemandhra settlers in Hyderabad filed a case in High Court against the film saying that the title is quite objectionable.‘Andhra Settlers Forum’ has approached the High Court alleging the title ‘Andhra Pori’ hurts their feelings.
The case has come to the court’s hearing today.According to the latest reports, the high court has dismissed the petition filed by ‘Andhra Settlers Forum’ paving way to smooth release of the film.
The film stars Ulka Gupta as the female lead opposite Akash Puri and Uttej, Aravind Krishna along with Sreemukhi in pivotal roles.This romantic entertainer’s story is based on a Telangana boy who falls for an Andhra girl.
Maverick director Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Puri is debuting with this film as a hero.
