With the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the present lockdown in the country, all the shootings have come to a halt.Now with the lockdown being extended further, the after-effects of the lockdown are going to have an adverse effect on all big films which have star castings in their films as the availability of the actor dates will become a huge headache.
One of the film which is now being affected due to this reason is none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Pushpa’.It was earlier reported that popular Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi is playing a crucial role in this Sukumar directorial which revolves around red sandal smuggling in Seshachalam forest.
There have been rumors doing around that Makkal Selvan may now walk out of the film citing dates availability.Apparently Vijay was supposed to shoot for the film throughout April.But with the extension of the ongoing lockdown, the availability of Vijay’s dates looks impossible and he is left with no other choice but to leave ‘Pushpa’ to cater his dates to his Tamil projects.
In fact Vijay is currently the busiest star all over India as he has more than a dozen films in different languages under his belt at the moment.
Another interesting news is that Sukumar is now planning to rope in the national award-winning Tamil actor Bobby Simha or ‘Druva’ villain Aravind Swamy for that particular role.Stay tuned for the official confirmation!
