Hyderabad 7 August : A few days after his resignation with the Congress party, Dasoju Sravan on Sunday joined the BJP. The former national spokesperson of Congress party joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of BJP general secretary in charge of Telangana Tarun Chugh in New Delhi.
Union minister for culture and tourism G.Kishan Reddy, MP K.Laxman, former MP Vivek Venkaswamy Senior leader Muralidhar Rao, and other leaders were in attendance.
Tarun Chugh was officially received Sravan in the celebration by presenting the membership card to Sravan.
Sravan later told media that a change in the politics is needed in Telangana to ensure the development of the state.
He claimed that a number of members of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) were behind the casino organiser Chikoti Praveen, who was recently interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegations of FEMA violations.
Sravan said that TRS leaders were engaged in looting the state.He said TRS has led the state into an economic crisis.
“The moment has arrived to eliminate KCR of power,” he said.
Tarun Chugh stated that Sravan became a member of the BJP because he was impressed by the work of development carried out by the party.
He said that only BJP could provide an alternative to TRS.
Vivek Venkaswamy Vivek Venkaswamy with Sravan joining the ranks the BJP will be more powerful in the state.
Sravan last Friday, announced his resignation from the party on Friday.
The claim is that there was a complete disturbance in the group under the direction of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A.Revanth Reddy, he claimed he was not prepared to be an enslave in the party and took the decision to resign.
He claimed that when Revant Reddy was elected the PCC president, the PCC began to give priority to the leadership according to the principle of the caste system and money power.
He stated that Revant Reddy had put every principle of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to the wind in Telangana.He was also adamant about Congress director Manickam Tagore as well as strategist Sunil for the situation of things in the Congress party.
