New Delhi, Aug 18 : The Congress has postponed its planned “Mehangai par Halla Bol” event scheduled for the 28th of August until September 4, due the current Covid condition in the capital city of the nation.The decision was made at the session of the AICC and the state officials.
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said, “Due to the Covid-19 crisis and the prevailing Covid-19 situation, the Congress”Mehangai” Halla Bol rally at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi has been moved for September 4 to August 28.The rally will deliver a powerful message to uninformed Modi Sarkar.”

The Congress had scheduled a meeting of AICC general secretaries and state in-charges PCC presidents lawmakers, legislator party leaders and other leaders on Thursday to get ready for the protest against unemployment and inflation, which was announced on August 28.

The party believes that the agitation on 5 August in the same area was successful in the time Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, as well as many others were detained by police.

The Congress is also organizing “Mehangai Chaupals,” which are interactive meetings at mandis markets for retail and other places in all Assembly constituencies starting on August 17 until 23, sources from the party claimed.

The party is planning to print brochures to be distributed to all state organizations.

The booklets will be printed and translated in local languages to distribute to the general public.

On August 22’Dilli Chalo Halla Bol rallies will be held in every state.

Following the 25th of August rallies will be held at district levels, and after that at block level on August 27 across the nation.
