Bhopal, Nov 29, : Concerned about the new Covid-19 variant — Omicron — Madhya Pradesh Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Monday directed all concerned officials in all districts of the state not to lose their eyesight. The Chief Minister directed officials to review their preparations for fighting a possible third wave in the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chouhan instructed them to begin questioning anyone found in public places without masks during a virtual meeting with their commissioners, district collectors, and inspector generals.
To avoid a third wave of pandemics, he directed officials to ensure that all Covid protocols are followed in all districts.
He stated that the state has seen a slight increase in daily Covid cases in the last few days, particularly in Bhopal, Indore, and Bhopal.
“People who come from overseas should be screened.
If they show any symptoms of the new variant they should be isolated.Chouhan stated that we should be ready to face any challenges at any stage.
Officials were directed to inspect all oxygen plants in the event of a third wave of pandemic.
The Chief Minister stated that he would hold a meeting about crisis management at 10 o’clock on December 1.
After a woman who traveled from Botswana to Jabalpur, the move was made.It is believed that she has not been found.
All restrictions on Covid were lifted by the state government last week.
