Indian railways are known for its delay in schedules and in providing any other services to its passengers.It added one more thing to it.In the recent time one of the Rajdhani passengers identified a cockroach in the food, He immediately reported this issue to IRCTC and complained in court.Today the IRCTC released its investigation report and fined 1 lakh on the respective caterer.
In addition to this it ordered regular check on various services in the trains.During investigation it had identified that many trains also maintaining same low class services to its passengers levied fine of 50k to 1 lakh.
Railway minister Sadananda Gowda had announced in the rail budget to make course correction in catering service to address the problem.According to the plan, top caterers like ITC, MTR and Haldiram have been roped in to serve pre-cooked food in trains on a trial basis.
Soon Rail passengers expecting to get good quality of food if the rules are implemented properly.
