Finally, the Chief Minister office (CMO) responds to the controversy over CM letter to Speaker asking to prorogue the Assembly.It confirms sending letter to Speaker, but condemns the rumors surrounded it.The CMO tried to underplay the issue by describing it a routine official procedure.It said proroguing the state Assembly is essential to approve any ordinance.
However, the CMO doesn’t bother to explain, why the letter has been sent to Speaker at a time, when he is planning to summon the Assembly to conduct a debate on Telangana draft.Moreover, when there are no ordinances are pending for Assembly approval, why did the government insist for prorogue of Assembly.
