Andhra Pradesh is enforcing night curfew from today.In this context, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today held a review meeting with top officials at the Tadepalli camp office on Covid prevention, control and vaccination in the state.
The CM directed the officers to provide effective services to the patients under Arogya Sree in the state.The CM advised the officials to immediately go to any government hospital in the state to know the health condition of the patient and the procedure for sending them for treatment should be very strict.
The CM directed that large hoardings be put up in the village, ward clinics and government hospitals to give full details on Arogya Sree.
CM Jagan comprehensively reviewed the Standard (SOP) Operational Procedure designed on the Patient Referral System under Arogyasree.
The CM also examined the SOPs designed for health allies in network hospitals, health allies in village-ward secretariats, PHC health allies, 104 medical officers and 108 medical officers.He said health allies should play a key role during Covid.
The Chief Minister told the officials that the app should work for the integration of these services using modern technology.
Officials said they were ready to face any situation.
Compared to the second wave, the number of beds in hospitals for Covid treatment has also been increased, officials said.A total of 53,184 beds are ready in all the districts.
After reviewing the 104 call centre, the Chief Minister said that care should be taken not to cause technical problems in the call centres and appropriate steps should be taken to ensure medical treatment to those who call through telemedicine.
The CM directed to pay special attention to the backward districts of East Godavari, Guntur, YSR Kadapa, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam to expedite the vaccination process in those five districts.
The Chief Minister also reviewed with the authorities on the progress of construction of new medical colleges.The review was attended by Health Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Nani), CS Sameer Sharma, Chief Secretary for Medical Health Anil Kumar Singhal, Chief Secretary for Medical Health (Covid Management and Vaccination) Muddada Ravichandra, Finance Secretary N Gulzar and others.
