Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is leaving for Delhi on Monday to Meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.CM Jagan to leave for Delhi from Gannavaram at 10:50 am.The CM has an appointment with PM Modi at 4:00 pm and will later meet Amit Shah.
Sources say he will hold talks about Special Status, Fiscal Deficit, Approval for the estimates of Polvaram Project and the state 3 capitals issue.
During a recent visit to Tirupati, Amit Shah made it clear that Amaravati is the only Capital of the state, Hence why it is expected that CM Jagan to discuss about the 3 capitals and make Amaravati the legislative capital.It is doubtful whether the decision will change as Amit Shah has made it clear that it was definite decision on Amaravati
Opposition parties, however, are of the view that there is a political angle behind Jagan’s visit to Delhi.
