CJI still had made a shortsighted decision and it was a slight injustice,” Alok stated while speaking to media people in Patna, Wednesday.

“I believe the judge’s comment that legislators should work within the Constitution’s limits is incorrect.

Alok stated that there were pending cases in court prior to the implementation of Bihar’s liquor ban.

We should be attentive to the speed at which the cases are heard and the decisions made.English has a saying that justice delayed is justice denied. He said that there are approximately 4 lakh cases in court.

It would be confusing if bureaucracy (judiciary and legislature) were to comment on one another.Everyone in India respects the Chief Justice of India.

He said that if my points are wrong, I will also apologize.

Alok stated, “As a citizen, I strongly believe that the bureaucracy judiciary and legislature shouldn’t interfere in their respective works and should avoid commenting each other.”

According to the Chief Justice of India, decisions such as that in Bihar which banned liquor in 2016, “put enormous burdens on courts.”

Three lakh cases are pending before the courts. He said that people have been waiting long for justice and the increased cases related to liquor violations place additional pressure on courts.

On December 27, the Chief Justice of India was present at Sidhartha Law College in Vijayawada and shared his views during a discussion about the future challenges facing the Indian judiciary system.

Ramana emphasized that any policy must be considered in the context of futuristic planning and its evaluation before it is implemented on the ground.

The high court receives a lot of applications for bails under the liquor prohibition act.It is hindering the ability of the courts to function because of shortsighted policies by various governments.Ramana stated that every law should be thoroughly discussed and supported before it is implemented.
