CJI Justice NV Ramana to visit Tirumala on June 11

Chief Justice of India, Justice NV Ramana is going to visit Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam on June 11.He will visit Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple tomorrow morning.

This is his first visit to the Tirumala temple since taking over as CJI.

Recently, CJI Justice NV Ramana has taken a key decision to increase the number of Telangana High Court judges from 24 to 42.Recently, he signed on the relevant file.The number of judges has been increased by 75 per cent.

Of these, 32 are permanent judges and the remaining ten are additional judges.Of the 42, 28 are lawyers from the Bar Association.

The remaining 14 will be selected from the Judicial Services.

On February 13, 2019, CM KCR appealed to the Central Government and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to increase the number of judges in the Telangana High Court.

However, the Prime Minister and Union Justice Ministers also agreed to this.As soon as Justice NV Ramana took over as CJI, he focused on resolving pending cases across the country.

As a part of this, he increased the number of judges in the Telangana High court.
