Megastar Chiranjeevi has already announced that he will be playing the lead in the Telugu remake of Mohan Lal’s super hit Malayalam film ‘Lucifer’.Initially, ‘Saaho’ fame Sujeeth’s name was heard as the director of this remake, but it is said that Chiru wasn’t fully satisfied with the script that Sujeeth developed.
Later Chiranjeevi dropped off Sujeeth’s name and gave the offer to another star director VV.Vinayak and personally asked the director to develop the script.Vinayak and his team of writers have worked on the necessary changes to be made to the script in the last one month. The latest we hear is that Vinayak has recently met Chiru with a rough cut of the remake and narrated it to him.Reports suggest that Chiranjeevi is mightily impressed with the way Vinayak has developed the script and has given a go-ahead nod to Vinayak for further completion of the script.
Chiru and Vinayak earlier collaborated for films like ‘Tagore’ and ‘Khaidi No.150’ which were blockbusters.This will be their third outing together.
The remake will be produced by Chiru’s son Ram Charan under their banner Konidela Production Company.Keep watching this space for more updates on this remake!
