This makes it more difficult for shoppers to get the products that they want. The world is facing acute component shortages and supply chain problems.

The chip shortage was most severe for electronics and appliances.

Adobe Analytics’ holiday shopping report suggests that the downtrend could have been caused by an increase in early spending.

Some stores began sales and promotions as early October.

Adobe discovered that 44.4 percent of Black Friday sales were made online by shoppers using a smartphone. This is a 10.6 percentage increase over last year, according to The Verge.

According to Vivek Paandya, lead analyst at Adobe Digital Insights, “Black Friday saw a reversal in the growth trend of previous years.”

He said, “Shoppers are strategic in their gift shopping, buying earlier in the season and being flexible with when they shop to ensure they get the best deals.”

The Meta (formerly Oculus), Quest 2 and the Nintendo Switch were two of the most popular tech products on Black Friday.
