Chandrababu announced AP capital

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu made an announcement in Assembly regarding the state capital of Andhra Pradesh state.Amidst chaos created by YSRCP Members Babu told the assembly that the government has decided to “locate the capital at central place of the state around Vijayawada”.

Naidu said the decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting Sep 1.

Babu revealed that the cabinet has decided that the capital will be centrally located to all the regions of the state and the development will be decentralized with 5 Grids, 7 Missions, 3 Mega Cities and 12 Smart Cities

On the occasion, Chandra Babu also released a detailed note about the government’s vision so as how to develop each and every district of the state.

“Government would appoint a sub committee to comprehensively study the land acquisition and implement the development of new capital.Three Mega cities and ten smart cities would come up in state with a focused plan for development of the backward regions in North coastal Andhra and the Rayalaseema districts,” Naidu informed the house.

Chandrababu, who had initially said that he would make the announcement by 12 noon, has advanced it and made the announcement by 11.11 AM, which was decided by pundits as being auspicious.Earlier in the day, YSR Congress MLAs stormed in to Speaker’s well and made the Speaker to stall the proceedings of the house for two times before the CM’s announcement.
