What’s it about?

Hari (Naga Shourya) is a reckless youth who always indulge in fights.He kinda finds happiness and passage of time in fights.

Irked with this behaviour, his father (Naresh) sends him to a village named Thirruparam which located at the border of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Thing is, people in village are bifurcated into two groups on the basis of Telugu speaking and Tamil speaking.Both groups are arch rivals.At this juncture, Hari falls in love with Karthika (Rashmika Mandanna) who is from the Tamil group.His love affair lands him into troubles.How did he manage to make his love story get succeeded? Watch in theaters near you.

Actors and Performances :

Naga Shourya back to his strengths after mismatch roles of late.His comedy timing clicks in the film.

He looks fresh and much younger compared to his previous films.Just bare with his dances in songs.

Rashmika is simply gorgeous.She has got expressive eyes and face.Wouldn’t be surprised if she is going to be a new crush for many.She is here to stay.

Naresh plays a typical father role to troublesome son yet again.Sathya plays a key role and is astonishing.

Vennela Kishore is the biggest attraction in a mundane second half.

Technical Talk :

Choosi Chudangane is all over Telugu states.The song is equally good on screen.Background score is decent.Cinematography scores higher than all technical departments.Impressive work from Sriram.

Editing department failed to make a good second half.Had it not been for Vennela Kishore, the film would have been unbearable in the second half.Production values are good.

Analysis :

Writer cum director Venky Kudumula has a good sense of humour.The first half supports the above statement.Although he film is not set in a complete new backdrop, good writing passes the first half.

There are good moments in the initial stages.Dialogues are superbly written.

Romantic track between the lead pair could have been written in a better way.All the loopholes exist in the second half.If stars on a pale note and becomes irritating at times.Vennela Kishore is the saving grace.

On an overall note, Chalo is a one time watch.

Plus Points :

* Lead pair

* Comedy (Vennela Kishore)

* Songs

Minus Points :

* Editing in the second half

* Climax

Brief Note :

Okkosari “Chalo”

Rating :

2.5/5
