Centre Needs To Come Out With Unvarnished Truth: Sajad Lone

The Centre has to be exposed with an unfiltered factual information: Sajad Lone

Srinagar 19 August : Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Lone on Friday said that the recent decision made by the members of the Election Commission pertaining to allowing non-locals to vote in the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir has brought about a new set of concerns among the people and the Government of India must allay the concerns.
“The declaration of ECI officials increased the fear of demographic intervention and changes. We are aware of the set of laws that are in force across the country , but what is important here isn’t the implementation of the law, but rather the motives of those who are implementing the law.” Lone said in an interview.

Sajad claimed that in the past three years, the deprivation of the people of J&K has been a continuous process that is being achieved slowly with an unending frequency.

He added that J&K has a long history of stolen elections.

The statements are a scathing reminder of those elections that were stolen and also a sign of the nursing intentions of the theft of elections in the near future.

“We would like to see that instead of singing about new baked terror stories on a regular basis, the government recognizes its mistakes and apologizes for the mistakes committed in the last three years. The perception among the public is that the Central government is still using its old tricks.” he added.

In his ardent appeal to the government to ease the fears of J&K’s citizens of J&K and clearly declare the motives behind their actions, Lone maintained that “unless the government can come forward with the details of their motives and a clear explanation of their intentions, we view this as an escalation in the public eye.

“We ask the government to publish their version of the events.Let the truth be revealed in the way it is,” he added.
