Seven and a half years after the partition of the state of Andhra Pradesh still, many issues need to be settled between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The AP state government has recently brought the Rs 6,111 crore electricity arrears from the Telangana issue to the forefront.
In this context, YCP MP Avinash Reddy asked the union govt to intervene in the issue and allot Rs 6,000 crore due to them from the state of Telangana.Responding to this, Union Power Minister RK Singh said that the two Telugu states should resolve this issue amicably.
Since this issue is purely an issue between the two states, the union minister asked the state governments to resolve it through negotiations. However, this issue was already pending in court.
The AP state government, which is in a serious financial crisis, hopes to get some relief from the Rs 6,000 crore electricity arrears due from the state of Telangana.
But it seems like the Telangana government is not responding positively.
Hence, the YCP MP Avinash Reddy asked the union govt to interfere.Surprisingly, the union minister gave a strange response to the AP state govt.
