The sudden demise of former president APJ Abdul Kalam has left the nation shocked.Kalam, 84, collapsed during a public lecture at IIM Shillong.
Messages condoling the death of Kalam started pouring in soon after the news spread.Politicians, sports icons and celebrities from the film industry posted their condolence messages on social media.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and several other leaders condoled the death of former President A P J Abdul Kalam.Reacting over Kalam death Naidu said that the former president was “a dear friend” and the noblest human being he met in his life.
CBN took to twitter and he wrote ‘’ In deep shock & anguish after hearing about the demise of a dear friend & one of the noblest human beings, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam.RIP.’’

Describing Kalam as a great humanist, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said the former president’s death is a great loss to the country.
Meanwhile the government has announced a seven-day state morning in honour of Kalam, who became affectionately known as the ‘people’s President.
