CBI conducts raids at Manish Sisodia’s home in the excise policy matter

New Delhi, Aug 19 : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday conducted raids in 22 places in Delhi, the capital of the nation including the residence of Delhi Vice Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the irregularities in the latest excise policy.
A CBI team arrived at Sisodia’s home at around 6:00 in the morning.

The teams of investigators also raided the residences of the previous Commissioner Excise E.Gopikrishan, two public servants, and others.

Sisodia declared that he was innocent, and that the CBI was working at the direction of the Centre.

“CBI is here.They are welcomed.We are very honest.Our work is shaping the lives of millions of children.It’s a shame that people who are doing great job in the country are being hounded in this manner.This is the reason why our country hasn’t yet been ranked number one,” Manish Sisodia tweeted in Hindi.

Sisodia said that they would give their full cooperation to CBI to ensure that the truth will come out in the near future.

He stated that up to now, numerous lawsuits have been filed against him, but there has been no news.

“Nothing will be the result of it, either.My work is not going to stop.for a quality education in the nation.The people of Delhi are disturbed by the outstanding performance of Delhi’s education system and health.That’s why the Health Minister as well as Education Minister of Delhi has been snared to ensure that the excellent work of education and health can be put on hold.

“There are false accusations against us both of us.The truth will be revealed in the court.Sisodia added in his tweet in Hindi,” Sisiodia added in his tweet in Hindi.

In the meantime, BJP leader Kapil Mishra accused him of being corrupt.

“Corruption of Satyendra Jain has been discovered, Sisodia’s scams are now being brought in the eyes of the general public.

“The case of the loot of millions of rupees in the name of liquor contracts is just the beginning.

Our fight against corruption of Kejriwal’s government is going on, and the people who stole Delhi will be sent to prison,” Mishra tweeted.

The CBI has filed an FIR in connection with the suspected violations in the latest Excise policy against Manish Sisodia and other.

The Delhi L-G had asked the CBI to investigate the matter since there were numerous gaps in the liquor policy of the Delhi government.
