Cbi Has Proof Of Delhi Govt-liquor Mafia Nexus In Formulating Excise Policy: Bjp Mp

CBI provides evidence of Delhi the govt-liquor mafia’s relationship in formulating the policy on excise: BJP MP

New Delhi, Aug 19 : BJP MP from West Delhi, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, stated that on Friday the CBI has evidence that the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi came up with the current excise law in the nexus with the mafia of liquor and engaged in corruption amounting to millions of rupees.
“The source of this widely-publicized policy is CM Arvind Kejriwal himself.

Meetings were held at the Oberoi Hotel to discuss the policy in where representatives of the mafia of liquor would discuss the issue with Manish Sisodia as well as other officials who were concerned,” Verma alleged at an event for journalists on Friday, following the CBI searched the home of the deputy CM Manish Sisodia in this city.

Verma added that the CBI has a concrete evidence of this massive fraud, and that a lot of those involved with creating the policy on excise have been approved by the government.

In such a situation the so-called integrity of the Kejriwal government is out, he said.

In a dig at Kejriwal, Verma said he may not be a shrewd Chief Minister but he definitely is a good future-teller.

“Kejriwal knew exactly what was the ultimate result of this fraud. So, he had already declared that following the Health Minister Satyendar Jainwas arrested, it was Manish Sisodia’s turn to be imprisoned and he is doing just that in the present,” said Verma.

The BJP MP also claimed that it was Kejriwal who set and set commission rates since he was aware of the tricks of the trade since he was an ex IRS officer.

He claimed that as a result of this the commission for liquor was increased from 2.5 percent to 12.5 percent.

Then, the former Delhi BJP director Manoj Tiwari claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party contested the elections in Punjab, Uttarakhand and other states with the same amount of money it received in commissions of a few millions of rupees through the fraud involving the excise policies.

Speaking at the discussion, he expressed apprehension that it could be an instance of changing black money to white.

The CBI should investigate the issue with this in mind, he said.

“Kejriwal has withdrawn the new excise law due to the pressure of the BJP’s mass movement.

If the liquor policy were correct the government should have been able to accept every inquiry.

“Kejriwal stated that all ministers of Delhi government are claiming that this is a plot to end the Delhi model of education and health.

If the issue is about excise policies, why do you think he speaking about health and education? health,” Tiwari asked.
