While AP CM YS Jagan is completely occupied with the ongoing row about the 3-capital proposal, the Nampally CBI Court summons came as a jolt.It is known that YS Jagan used to be a frequent visitor (every Friday) at the Nampally CBI Court to attend the proceedings in of the cases filed against him by the CBI.Despite becoming the Chief Minister of a state, he still needs to attend the upcoming hearing.
Though Jagan had to attend the hearing every Thursday, his counsel requested the court to exempt him from personal attendance.
Official work, and other development activities have been cited the reason by YS Jagan’s counsel.It is understood that the court which agreed to this plea until now had made strong remarks in this case.
‘Everyone is equal in front of the law.YS Jagan has to attend the hearing on 10th January 2020’, said the court according to the sources.
Similarly, YSRCP senior leader V Vijayasai Reddy also received the summons for the hearing.His plea to exempt him from personal attendance has been accepted by the court.
