After the Pass away of the legendary actor ANR , The Indian Postal Department honored him with a postal stamp in memory .The postal department has released a special 5 rupees worth stamp in the name of the actor.
As a part of ‘My Stamp Scheme’, this stamp was released by vice-chancellor Unnam Venkaiah at Gudivada in connection with the college’s anniversary.Former student of ANR School in Gudivada of Krishna district and Justice Devu Narshimha Rao has taken interest in releasing the stamp under the scheme my stamp.
He said, ANR had done a great service to the Telugu film industry and education sector.This is definitely a deserving dedication in the loving memory of an immortal star by Indian Postal Service
