While the film Srimanthudu went on to become a blockbuster, the film Kick 2 failed completely to attract the audiences.Here is an interesting news on these two films now and surprisingly a case has been filed on both the films!
Going into the details, a case has been filed by a RTI activist Rajesh Kumar in Kukatpally Police station Hyderabad.
The main allegations by the activist is that the producers of these films have violated Section 38 of Cinematography act.According to Section 38 of Indian Cinematography Act, the film producers must mention the Censor Report of their film in their print and electronic publicity material (like trailers, teasers, promos etc).But the films’ 2 publicity material failed to carry the censor report, as per the petitioner.The case has been shifted to Miyapur’s 14th Metropalitan court.
