Perth, December 27, 2012 : .Two raging bushfires are currently threatening the lives and property of people in Western Australia, as part of an extreme heatwave.
According to Xinhua, the WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services issued a Bushfire Emergency Warning on Monday for residents in Wooroloo and Chidlow in Shire of Mundaring and City of Swan.It is located 55km east of Perth and for those in Warrigal Estate.

Residents were asked to act immediately in order to save their homes and lives as there was a danger to their safety.

If the path is clear, you can leave immediately for a safer location.

You should prepare to take refuge in your own home if you are unable to leave.

A Mundaring Arena evacuation center has been established.

Multiple structures were destroyed by the bushfires on Sunday.

According to ABC, about 250 firefighters have been called in to tackle the flames that has burned more than 155 ha.

The DFES also sent a bushfire warning to residents of Treeton, Osmington, in the Shire of AugustaMargaret River about 300km south of Perth.They urged them not to delay and called for immediate action.

Bushfires were set off during extreme heatwave during the summer holidays, when Perth saw temperatures exceeding 42° Celsius for Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, very dry and hot conditions are expected in the west and north of the state Monday.Extreme fire danger is forecast for some parts of the area.
