TDP leader Bonda Uma has lashed out at the ruling YCP government in the state of Andhra Pradesh.Speaking to media correspondent in Vijayawada on Friday Bonda Uma alleged that the division of new districts had taken place within the confines of regional YCP leaders.
He alleged that the division of districts was brought to the fore to mislead the public and the casino affair.Bonda Uma demanded that the YCP government, which undertook the division of districts without even a referendum, state on what basis the districts were actually divided.
It is flagged that the new districts were named without public opinion.Bonda Uma welcomed the name of NTR to the district to be set up as the center of Vijayawada.
He named Vijayawada as Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga and expressed the view that it would be better to name East Krishna with NTR memories.He said if the TDP came to power, the decision to name Krishna district NTR would be taken in the first cabinet itself.
If the NTR Smritivanam is being built under the TDP in Vijayawada Bonda Uma joked that the YCP government that came to power put it aside.Similarly, Bonda Uma demanded that the Eluru district should be named after the great SV Rangarao and any district formed from East Godavari should be named after Balayogi.
