Koppala, Karnataka : , November 19 : , Karnataka Chief minister Basavaraj Bhommai started the “Jan Swaraj” yatra at Koppala District and attacked the Congress for vilifying his government. He stated, “Congress is engaging in a defamatory campaign against us because my 100 days as a pro-people government have scuttled its hopes of getting to power.”
Bommai stated, in response to allegations made against him by Congress leaders: “Those who throw muck on others should realize that it dirties themselves.”
The Chief Minister addressed a large gathering to launch ‘Jan Swaraj yatra’ in Koppala.He made indirect references to Bitcoin and he blasted the Congress.
The alleged fraud occurred during their tenure as government.
The national spokesperson for their party has stated this, citing the cases in 2016 and 2017.Who was then in power? “Who released the defendant?” Bommai questioned the Congress.
The accused was arrested by the government in connection with a case involving drug abuse and three charges have been filed against him.The probe has been initiated by the central investigative agencies.You are now questioning the people who have arrested him.”What should we do now?” asked the Chief Minister.
He reiterated the government’s position on the matter and said that “our stand is firm.” The alleged fraudsters will be punished.No one is exempt from the possibility of leniency.”We will not tolerate any leniency.”
Our objective is to develop the state, increase irrigation facilities, provide welfare programs, and speedy development in northern Karnataka.Bommai said that me and my government are accountable to those who elected us.”
Nalinkumar Kateel (BJP State President), Ministers Murugesh Achar, Halappa Anchar, and MP Pratap Singhha were all present.
