Reliance Entertainment recently announced that they have joined hands with S.R.Prakashbabu, S.R.Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures to jointly produce the remake of Karthi’s 2019’s Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ (‘Khaidi’ in Telugu) in Hindi.The film is about the journey of a convict on the way to meet his daughter after releasing from the jail.
Right after this announcement, there has been a lot of talk on who will play the role of Karthi in this remake.According to sources, handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan and energetic star Ranveer Singh are the two principal choices for the lead role in Hindi.
It is also said that Hrithik has already seen the original recently and he will decide on doing the film or not in a few days.Hrithik hasn’t signed any film after the huge success of ‘War’ and it would be interesting if he agrees to do this role as it will a be huge treat for all his fans and the audience to see his in a mass rugged avatar.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is said to be the second choice after Hrithik.Ranveer has currently finished the shoot of his upcoming sports drama ’83’ and another comedy film titled ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’.
Now, it will be fun to see who will be finalized as the lead actor for this crazy remake!!
