Los Angeles, November 22nd : .Ridley Scott has announced that live-action television series of the biographical crime drama The House of Gucci’ of Harrison Ford’s 1982 films ‘Blade Runner and ‘Alien,’ which were first produced in 1979, have been in progress.
Pilots for each show are being written. Scott spoke to BBC Monday and suggested that the ‘Blade Runner’ adaptation was being planned as a 10-episode series.We have already written both the pilot and the ‘bible’ for ‘Blade Runner.We’re already presenting Blade Runner’ on TV, for the first 10 hours.
Scott spoke with Mishal Husain from the BBC, and said that ‘Alien” was receiving a similar treatment.The pilot will be written alongside a “bible” of what happens in the eight- to ten hour show.
A ‘Blade Runner TV series has never been discussed by the creator of many of Hollywood’s greatest films.
In December 2020, the first news of an “Alien” series was announced.
FX is the network that will host it.Noah Hawley, who has been attached, will be acting as the showrunner.
John Landgraf, FX’s boss described it last year as the “first ‘Alien’ story on Earth — by combining both the timeless terror of the original ‘Alien’ film and the continuous action of the second, it will be a terrifying thrill ride that will keep people in their seats.”
Husain asked Scott about the backlash from Gucci relatives about ‘The House of Gucci,’ which recounts the tragic romance between Patrizia (played as Lady Gaga by Lady Gaga), and Maurizio Gucci, ending in the murder of the former.Scott replied that he didn’t “get engaged with that”.
He stated, “It was murder.They forgot: He was killed.One brother was sentenced for tax evasion.Do not talk about profit to me.If you do this, you will end up in the public domain.
