Patna 3rd September : Firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh has requested a study of madrasas as well as mosques in Bihar similar to those in Uttar Pradesh. “We demanded of the Nitish Kumar government to conduct a an investigation of the madrasas and mosques of Bihar particularly in the predominantly Muslim Seemanchal region.
We need to know who runs madrasas as well as mosques in these regions, and who is remaining in these areas,” Singh said.
“The Yogi Adityanath government has made the right choice and is conducting a survey of mosques and madrasas in Uttar Pradesh.
We must follow the same approach in Bihar too to ensure that we are checking at least those who are sheltering in mosques and madrasas” the Union MInister said.
