New Delhi, Aug 30 : A few hours after the renowned social reformer and anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare on Tuesday wrote to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in which she recited to Kejriwal of his own words from his book “Swaraj,” about Delhi’s liquor policies, Kejriwal said he (Hazare) has been employed by the BJP to be a target for them. “When the public does not listen to them (BJP) they send an individual in front.
In the Punjab Assembly elections, they brought Kumar Vishwas who accused me of being a terrorist,” Kejriwal told the media.
“When the CBI has not found anything in the excise law, they’ve placed his (Anna Hazare) on the frontline now,” Kejriwal said while responding to the letter.
On CBI conducting a search of Manish Sisodia’s bank locker on Tuesday Kejriwal stated that his deputy received an official letter in the sense that there was nothing in the locker.
“However it is the responsibility of the agency to issue an official clean chit since it operates under pressure from political parties,” Kejriwal said.
“Whenever we enter the public arena, we must be prepared to face investigation agencies.Nothing was discovered within 14 hours of search at Manish Sisodia’s house,” said Kejriwal, as he expressed his fear that Sisodia could be arrested in the next couple of days by the agency.
“I believe the CBI officials could detain him since all investigations are politically motivated,” Kejriwal said.
He also responded to the BJP’s accusations about the creation of extra classrooms in government schools.
“They are asking us why we built additional classrooms. We have created classrooms available for students to learn in.They also ask questions about the amount of toilets. We have designed it so that our students aren’t suffering,” Kejriwal said.
