Panaji, Aug 19 : BJP’s Goa in-charge C.T.Ravi on Friday claimed that under the Congress regime beneficiaries did not receive 100%, which was provided by the Centre However, the BJP government has addressed the “bimari” (disease) and the beneficiaries are receiving full assistance. “When Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister in 1986, he once said that when the central government sends 100 rupees, 15 rupees are sent to the final man (beneficiary).Today there are over 300 schemes.when we send 100 rupees then the person who is the last receives 100 rupees.It’s our “niyat”” Ravi said here.
He stated that the BJP has “niti’ (Policy)as well as “neta” (Leader) as well as “niyat’ (intent).
“Even before, ‘bimari’ was present.However the Congress did not provide the treatment it needed.Today , “bimari” is treated.Because of this, the last man is receiving 100,” he said.
He stated that each party is working with different goals.”Some parties only want to get into power.The BJP is not just about power.Power isn’t our main goal.
Power is a tool to achieve your goal.Our goal is to build the country strong, to make everyone “Atmanirbhar,” in order to create India Vishwaguru.We are working on this,” Ravi said.
Ravi applauded the work of the former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in expanding connectivity.
“Atalji was in the presidency from 1998 until 2004.The connectivity of the country was boosted.
The speed of telephone connectivity increased.Television connectivity also was introduced in the time Atalji was in the powerhouse.
Before that , only Doordarshan was on the air.Only 3 to 4 shows were shown.If you have the remote in your palm you enjoy 300 to 500 channels.” Ravi said.
He added that once Narendra Modi came to power in the near future”Har Ghar Har Vyakti” will be linked.”People were linked with banks, and through Swacchha Bharat, people could have toilets.With Ayushman Bharat people were able to get health insurance.Farmers were provided assistance and gas connections through Ujwala scheme.” he said.
“During the Ukraine and Russia conflict, not only Indian students were involved, but also students from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nepal also wore the Indian flag to return safely.
This is the power of India today,” he said.
He claimed that in the Congress period “policy paralysis” was a reality but it’s not the case.”Today reform, transformation and performance is happening,” he said.
He also stated that Congress is a scam, and BJP is a scheme.”Congress means corruption, BJP means development,” he said.
