The Prime Minister has neutralized a major issue which has changed the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh’s western Uttar Pradesh. This is a relief for the BJP.

Since the beginning of their agitation, the farmers have been angry at the legislators.

All its elected members were asked to approach farmers to explain the benefits of the laws by the party.

However, BJP legislators and ministers were rudely refused entry to several villages.Farmers were also not willing to discuss the matter with them.

Even worse, the BJP lost the panchayat elections. There was no effort to quell the anger of the local castes.

We knew the issue would dominate the campaign. In western Uttar Pradesh, where farmers’ agitation had an important impact on the election results, we are likely to face reverses.”While the Prime Minister’s decision not to repeal the farm laws will be a huge help, we are now faced with the dilemma of justifying the support that we gave to these laws over the months,” declared a BJP MLA.

The BJP’s state unit is optimistic that it will be able to regain lost ground in Western Uttar Pradesh with the help of the rollback decision.

We are working hard to make up ground lost after the announcement by Prime Minister. We also believe that the farmers will listen to our message.Swatantra Singh, president of Uttar Pradesh BJP said that there has been so much done by the Modi and Yogi governments for farmers’ benefit and that we need to pass the message on.”

A BJP MLA in the area said that the rollback would neutralize the hostility of farmers, and it was up to them to make a favorable atmosphere for BJP.While we are well aware of the misinformation campaigns being carried out by the opposition, they will be countered.”

Sources claim that the BJP even has plans to replace legislators who were critical of farmers in their agitation.

Lakhimpur Kheri is a continuing problem that works against the ruling party.

An official of the party admitted that they will be harping on the Oct.3 incident now because the opposition has lost the issue regarding farm laws after the announcement by the Prime Minister.

Besides, the BJP is concerned about the farmer mood.

Rakesh Tikait, spokesperson for Bharatiya Kisan Unions (BKU), stated that ‘Mission UP’ is still far away.

“Uttar Pradesh is responsible for a lot.He said that the Lakhimpur incident and their cartoons of farmers were a part of this. All these issues are still valid.”
