All the major political parties in Telangana are vying for the Huzurabad MLA seat.Due to the resignation of former minister Etela Rajender, by-polls became inevitable in the Huzurabad constituency.
In the wake of the by-polls, Etela Rajender and BJP state president Bandi Sanjay announced their walkathons in Telangana.
Etela Rajender resumed his walkathon after minor surgery on his knee.
However, Bandi Sanjay’s walkathon is all set to begin on August 24.However, speculations are rife that Bandi Sanjay’s walkathon might postpone again.
At the other end of the scale, Etela Rajender received a big blow from his follower.Etela’s follower, Pingili Ramesh, Karimnagar KDCC Bank vice chairman, announced his resignation from the BJP on Sunday.Along with him, Chukka Ranjith also announced his resignation from the BJP.It is being speculated that both of them would be joining the TRS.
Recently, Pingili Ramesh lauded the ‘Dalit Bandhu’ scheme introduced by the Chief Minister of Telangana KCR.Also, he said that they have decided to join TRS, and the joining date will be announced soon.As per the political pundits, this is going to be a big blow for Etela Rajender.
