Washington 10th, August : US President Joe Biden coughed during his speech at a signing ceremony for a bill at the White House. Biden who ended his isolation on Sunday, after testing negative for Covid-19 in the rebound case, stopped his speech several times from behind the podium on the South Lawn, Xinhua news agency reported.
“I’m going to drink another sip of water,” he told the audience on Tuesday morning, while trying to clear his throat.
The White House issued a statement following the event, which stated that the President was tested positive for coronavirus on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
Cough is just one of the signs people who suffer from post-Covid illnesses typically suffer, according to researchers.
Fully vaccinations and boosters twice, Biden first tested positive for Covid-19 on the 21st of July which led to several days of confinement and treatment in the White House before receiving negative test results.
He was tested positive on July 30 and developed an occasional cough, but didn’t take treatment again.
